Welcome to Shepherd's Trail Catholic Camp and Retreat Center
Shepherd's Trail Retreat Center is a sanctuary and a place where ALL communities, churches, youth organizations, and families in San Diego County can call a home. Situated within the hills and valleys of Jamul and bordering Cleveland National Forest, Shepherd's Trail is composed of over 130 acres of natural and serene beauty.

Shepherd's Trail offers self-guided retreats and camps to all groups and organizations. Groups will have the entire facility to themselves and have the freedom to facilitate their own activities and schedules.

What We Offer
We have plenty of hiking trails with breathtaking views, especially atop Lyons Peak of Cleveland National Forest.
Visit our facility with your church group up to 60 members in our newly remodeled cabins. Starting at just $25 per person/night.
Stay in one of our newly built Glamp cabins or book a private spot for your tent.
How it Works
Shepherd's Trail provides your group exclusive access to our entire 80-acre facility when you book a retreat with us. Since we are not a full-service campground and we do not provide staffing, we require all groups to have adequately trained leaders/chaperones to facilitate, cook, clean, and assure the safety of their group. We also require all groups to tour the center prior to their retreat to become acquainted with the layout and buildings.
